Joyner Library Announcements

Joyner Library has subscribed to AP Images.  This resource contains over 3.5 million news photographs from the 1840’s through today, with more than 3,000 photos being added on a daily basis. Additionally, users can search through over 100,000 graphics, including maps, timelines, logos and graphs. The American Civil War Research Database is the definitive online resource for researching the individuals, regiments, and battles of the American Civil War.  It contains indexed, searchable information on millions of soldiers and thousands of battles, as well as photographs, all of the known regimental rosters, regimental chronicles, and officer profiles.  The database includes a record for virtually every soldier in the war.  Updated bimonthly, the database currently contains:
